Wiradjuri Care Group

Started by a Wiradjuri man, this care group is run by volunteers giving their time to the care of wildlife and domesticated pets. It often requires round the clock care, vet visits, medication and expensive bills that are not funded. The volunteers have totally self-funded everything required to date.

Water is also provided in tubs around scrub areas known for their wildlife and it not only helps native birds but it also helps prevent kangaroos from coming out to the roads in search for water and often being hit by vehicles. Members of the group are often called to assist such victims and most times it is very tragic. 

Members voluntarily go and fill the tubs regularly. Not limited to wildlife and domesticated animal care, the group also provides food for those in the community that are struggling. Members are happy to continue doing what they do, but if you feel the need to assist somehow, we welcome others to fill the tubs around the area or if you'd prefer and aren't able to do that, there is an option to help fund more tubs under products and click on the Water for Wildlife.
