With almost three decades of experience as a Cosmetic Chemist, Catherine McKinnon Griss has built a reputation for innovation, formulation expertise, governance leadership, and industry advocacy.

As founder of KuuSh, Catherine is the pioneer of water-free skincare, and she has developed Award Winning products used in luxury spas and wellness destinations internationally. 

Today, she continues to work behind the scenes on product innovation while consulting to emerging skincare and wellness brands, helping founders navigate formulation, positioning, compliance, and commercialisation.

Catherine is the Founder and Chief Judge of Cosmetica Awards, an international awards program recognising excellence and innovation across skincare, aesthetics, wellness, and cosmetic science.

Her expertise extends beyond product development. Catherine was the author of Australia's Organic Certification Standards for Health and Beauty products and served as an Industry Adviser to AQIS, contributing to the development of organic protocols and standards within Australia.

A respected leader in governance and community advocacy, Catherine previously served as President of the Eczema Association of Australasia and New Zealand. She continues to contribute to strategic governance initiatives while undertaking further director and governance studies.

In addition to her work in cosmetic science, Catherine is a licensed Real Estate Principal and business founder, bringing a unique blend of scientific knowledge, commercial acumen, and executive leadership to every project she undertakes.

Today, Catherine is also passionate about passing her knowledge to the next generation, including her four grandchildren, while continuing to support businesses, organisations, and individuals seeking trusted expertise in health, beauty, wellness, governance, and brand development.
